Payment Processing in iGaming: Who Is in the Chain
Acquirers, PSPs and issuers all sit between your withdrawal request and your bank account.
When a casino says a withdrawal has been sent but the money has not arrived, the delay is often outside the casino's systems.
A typical chain runs from the operator's cashier to a payment service provider, then to an acquiring bank, then through card scheme or bank rails to your issuing bank. Each step has its own cut-off times, risk checks and settlement windows.
Gambling is classified as a high-risk merchant category, which means additional scrutiny at several points, and some issuers decline gambling transactions outright as a matter of policy.
Practical effect: e-wallets and instant bank transfer rails usually settle fastest because they involve fewer intermediaries, while card withdrawals commonly take a few working days even when the operator approved them immediately.

Gambling involves risk and there is no strategy that guarantees a win. Only stake what you can afford to lose. Support is available at BeGambleAware.org and GamCare.
