Provably Fair Versus RNG Certification

Two different fairness claims, solving two different problems.

Provably fair systems let a player verify an individual result cryptographically. The server commits to a seed in advance, the player contributes a seed, and after the round the server seed is revealed so the outcome can be recomputed.

Certified RNG works differently: an accredited laboratory tests the generator and the game maths, and the regulator relies on that testing plus ongoing audit.

Provably fair proves that a specific round was not altered after the fact. It does not prove the payout model is favourable, and it says nothing about whether the operator will pay you.

Certification proves the long-run maths and comes with a regulator behind it, but does not let you verify one spin. The two are complementary rather than competing.
